Dua Njema SACCO is a brain child of Youth Action for Rural Development (YARD). The SACCO came into effect to support groups that YARD phase out from the livelihoods project to access finances and further their activities. The SACCO is a registered legal entity with the Ministry of Cooperative and Trade, as such and hence becoming separate entity from YARD. Its registration No. is CS/23882 of 21st March 2019. The SACCO adopts group lending methodology as loans collaterals is the members’ savings hence making it easier for a member to access loan and reducing high risks of loan defaults. The SACCO offers a mix of products and services aimed at meeting its clientele needs.
